Microsoft changes their mind over Vista licencing

I wrote a little while back about Vistas new lincence agreement that only let you transfer it once to another computer , then you needed to pay for it again. https://goldcoaster.wordpress.com/2006/10/16/vista-lets-you-move-just-once/

Well it looks like Microsoft has heard people complaining and realised it may have meant dropped sales, so they have changed the agreement regarding the license-to-device assignment of the retail versions of Vista (including Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) . It now says: “You may uninstall the software and install it on another device for your use. You may not do so to share this license between devices.”

thank god for common sense.
