So, you could put it in your pocket sideways and it'll feel just like the older gen iPods, because now the phones slot is going in on the less wider side. I think they should consider that for the future. The wider screen does work with an upgraded interface - I think they may have the right idea going for wide screen (especially with movies and the like.) Although, the thicker design means one thing : it aint going to work with our cradles and speaker systems etc. so we have to upgrade a whole lot of other things as well. Not cool. The new interface is messy in my eyes becuase of the picture at the side - my preference. Same goes for the size. For me running with my old nano and the nike gadget the form is great, the new one is too fat. I also wonder if the battery will last much longer than the warranty, my two nanos never did - battery went crap a week before warranty expired and a week after on the other.not good. remember different or new doesn't automatically mean an upgrade.(ever tried itunes 5 it was an upgrade from 4.9) Floola isn't blocked anymore so it works great. thanks for the comment Jeimi. and thank you for defending Apple.

This Nano is the best yet. While the preference of the shape is pretty subjective, it actually becomes easier to use once you get used to it.
